Along with eChem, FACI Group also took over the Texas, USA plant located in Lufkin which, just like the Leeds unit, leads the water based dispersions of metallic stearates (calcium and zinc) industry. Yet again, such dispersions mainly find application in the industries of synthetic rubber, paper, and pre-shaped concrete.
The Lufkin plant has recently finalized an important investment aimed at implementing a new unit for the production of metallic stearates (calcium and zinc).
The new production unit was commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2022 and will allow FACI Group to consolidate its position in the USA. The strategically located plant in Lufkin, TX, will allow the company to supply all the main producers of polyolefins based near Houston (Gulf Area), ticking one more box on the “Business Contingency Plan” implemented by FACI Group over the past years.

FACI Group
